I'd rather avoid it.

Powers
↬ Sensing Malicious Intent
Tabris' Warden abilities have been modified to give her a sense of malicious intent, able to tell if someone has plans to harm others (or are currently harming others). She can get an idea of the location, though it's not accurate enough to point right at someone. If you would like to opt out of Tabris being able to sense this from your character, please comment here!

CHARACTER NAME: Warden-Commander Revas Tabris
CHARACTER AGE: 29
SERIES: Dragon Age
CHRONOLOGY: Inquisition era, shortly after sending her letter off to the Inquisitor.
CLASS: Hero
HOUSING: Anywhere in Heropa is fine!
BACKGROUND:
[City Elf Origin] [The Warden]
Tabris is a city elf who got recruited to the Grey Wardens after nearly being executed when she undertook a rescue mission to save a group of girls that had been kidnapped from Tabris' own failed wedding. Shortly thereafter, a battle was fought by the King and the Grey Wardens against the horde of monsters known as darkspawn. They were betrayed by the commander of the army, Loghain Mac Tir--with the result of all the Grey Wardens being killed, save Tabris and her fellow junior warden Alistair. Loghain shortly thereafter took the throne and made all Wardens fugitives. Knowing the country would never survive against the darkspawn army without the outside aid that only Wardens could call upon, they traveled across Fereldan, gathering allies to fight the horde. Despite being pursued by both darkspawn and Loghain, they were ultimately successful, ousting and executing Loghain. They then turned their attention to the horde, which shortly thereafter fell upon the capital city. With their allies, they were able to fight the horde, and Tabris managed to kill the leader of the horde, the massive dragon known as an archdemon.
She was made the Warden Commander, leader of the Wardens of Fereldan (which currently numbered her and Alistair). As she went about attempting to add to their numbers, she found herself in the middle of a civil war between the darkspawn. She sided with the Architect, who seemed to want to stop the hordes from attacking the surface as much as she did, and proceeded to destroy the other side. Since then, she's continued to serve as the leader, up until mysteriously disappearing while trying to find a way to end the magic that made Wardens live drastically shorter lives than normal.
As far as her in-game choices go:
-Recruited all companions
-Saved and allied with the mages at Kinloch
-Aided Redcliffe in fighting the undead
-Used Kinloch mages to get the demon to stop possessing Connor
-Did not defile the Urn of Sacred Ashes
-Brokered peace between the Dalish and the werewolves
-Kicked the creepy anvil & the creepy paragon off a cliff
-Made Bhelen king of Orzammar
-Bullied Alistair into doing the dark ritual
-Killed the archdemon
-Anora rules alone, Alistair is a warden
Awakening:
-Recruited all companions
-Sided with the architect
-Chose to protect the Keep over Amaranthine
PERSONALITY:
Revas Tabris has spent most of her adult life being in charge, being the leader, the one people look to whenever there's a mess. This constant in her life has informed a great deal of how she interacts with the rest of the world, and made her into the person that she is today. The idea of not being the one who makes the penultimate decisions, and having these decisions followed with little fuss, is bizarre to Tabris, and quite frankly, unwanted. She enjoys being in charge, and is quick to take command in whatever variety of situations she's found herself in. While it's not without reason, it can be pretty damn obnoxious.
Helping her with her tendency to step into the role of leader is her unwavering confidence in herself. After all, she's already accomplished a variety of increasingly improbably tasks throughout her life, what could possibly stop her now? Tabris faces uncertainty and seemingly impossible odds by simply treating them like the fact of her conquering them is unquestionable. Her decision has been made, she's going to win, and she walks and talks in such a way that the world simply bending to her will seems to be a given, and another outcome is not even worth consideration.
This steadfast resolution has gotten her through numerous sticky situations, but it comes at the cost of Tabris being incredibly overconfident in herself. She tends to underestimate enemies and bad situations, since it's already certain she'll win. Because she doesn't stop to contemplate failure, when she does fail, she's completely blindsided. She has no plans or ideas how to proceed, and her pride makes asking for help a struggle.
Despite her overabundance of confidence (or perhaps because of it), Tabris is not an unfriendly person--on the contrary, she's eager to get to know other people and strike up friendships with them. She's outgoing and fiercely cheerful, usually considering someone on amicable terms as long as they've met and didn't try to kill each other. And even then, trying to kill her isn't a showstopper. She's had plenty of friends who've tried to kill her at some point. When Tabris meets someone she likes, she tends to just kind of Decide, congratulations, you're friends now, have a sticker.
One thing is certainly clear: Tabris has plenty of control issues. When Tabris stops being in control of the situation, she finds it unsettling. But what truly upsets her, and what she fears, is not being in control of herself. She grew up in a situation where she was forced to be subservient to humans if she wanted to live, and when she went on her murderous rampage to rescue her friends, she made her choice. If she had to choose between living under someone's thumb and death, then she would choose death. Thus, no situation scares Tabris quite as much as the idea of being manipulated, being forced to act according to the whims of someone else.
Being an elf, with these issues with humans, Tabris feels an immediate kinship to anyone that is either an elf, or in a situation similar to her own. The underdog, the oppressed, the forsaken. She trusts elves much faster than humans, and is quicker to take them at their word and attempt to help them out. Elves, or people of similar situations, will find it easy to get Tabris to give them a hand--or manipulate her. And, of course, humans will find the opposite to be true. While Tabris knows that not all humans are terrible, and she's usually perfectly willing to give them a chance to prove that they aren't, they get a much shorter allowance of patience. She also tends to have plenty of shit to talk about humans in general, and she isn't afraid to let other people hear it. Her bitterness is something that most elves have to keep to themselves, but with Tabris' special position, she's one of the few who can get away with it--which she takes frequent advantage of.
Wardens are another group that Tabris is quick to take a shine to--though they are much rarer. She knows that Duncan saved her life, and being a Warden gave her a chance to reach her potential, something she'd never have managed in her old life. Thus, her loyalties to the Wardens and everything they've done for her run deep. She's incredibly proud of this organization that she's come to lead, and will let everyone know about it.
The Wardens are, in fact, Tabris' current main concern. The reason she left her home, her friends, everything behind, was to travel deep into parts of the world that are almost unknown, seeking a way to save them all. The magic that gives a Warden their abilities also gives them a drastically short life span. Tabris has taken it upon herself to find the cure for this, and thus has seemingly disappeared off the face of Thedas, hellbent on discovering the cure for the brotherhood she loves so much.
Loyalty is something that Tabris is a fierce believer in, regardless of affiliation. Once Tabris has accepted someone as a true friend--not just an amicable acquaintance, but something she trusts wholly--she would go to the ends of Thedas for them. Anyone who makes it into her inner circle is someone that she would prioritize above all others, even at the cost of innocent lives. She's let a village burn to make sure those she cares for were safe, and to this day, she doesn't regret the decision, and would do it again.
All in all, Tabris is a well-meaning woman who has a resemblance to a natural disaster--she blows through, bowling over everything in her way, carrying everyone along in her wake. But those who stick around will find someone who would give everything to see them safe.
POWER:
Reaver: In canon, Tabris is a Reaver, a warrior who has harnessed blood magic in order to be able to generate raw power from life force--their own, or their enemies. In MOM, this will be adapted as Tabris being able to increase her strength based on her pain levels--the more pain she's in, the stronger she becomes. This is not necessarily linked to the amount of damage she's taken--if she can't feel it, it won't work. She can also harness the pain of her enemies, though she has to be the one who injured them, and she has to be close enough to be able to tap into their life force.
Elf: Tabris is an elf, a race in Thedas that is most noticeably separate from humans by their pointy ears and tendency to be treated like dirt. Elves tend to be smaller than humans, but more dexterous and lithe. Their eyes have tapetum lucidum, much like a cat's, giving them the ability to see in the dark better than humans. It also results in their eyes reflecting light in dimness, causing them to appear to glow.
Warden: The Wardens are elite warriors that specialize in fighting darkspawn. As there are no darkspawn here, her powers have been modified away from that focus. Instead of sensing darkspawn, Tabris can now sense general malicious intent. This does not give her an exact idea of who it is, or what they're planning--she can get an idea of the general area, and she can tell that someone in that area is planning to harm someone else (or is currently harming someone else). In a crowd, it can be difficult to figure just who is the person that is giving her the feeling.

[ The camera is shaky at first, as Tabris squints at it, holding it up to her eye quizzically, before pulling back enough to show her entire face. This is some pretty crazy magic, here. ]
HELLO--[ Small frown, then she lowers her voice. ]--Yes, okay. Hello! Wow, you can see my face and everything. Lucky you guys, huh? I am, of course, Warden Commander Revas Tabris, otherwise known as the Hero of Ferelden, otherwise known as Arlessa of Amaranthine, Champion of Redcliffe, etc etc. I sign autographs on Tuesdays.
Aside from my illustrious and inspiring career, which I had to put aside temporarily to come here, [ Not that she's bitter about that or anything. ] I also have a hobby that involves petting dogs. You have to have a natural talent for it, but luckily, every Ferelden comes equipped with the ability to pet dogs like an expert, right from birth. We just pop out like that.
...Anyway, I, incidentally, also have a dog. [ The camera pans to show Tabris' fierce mabari, fiercely lying on his back, snoring. Fiercely. ] And I was wondering if there was a dog park or anything like that people can go to with their dogs, and be allowed to pet other dogs? Do you guys have things like that?
If you don't, feel free to just talk to me about important things like: How cool Wardens are, how cool I am, and how cool dogs are. Thanks.
